The Auto-tagger

Jun 20, 2004

Not much to report lately. I've been trying to get this Opera puffin mascot campaign off the ground and not a lot seems to be happening. Of course it's only been a week or so :)

One new thing in the PHP section: an auto-tagger which can automatically place HTML tags around any abbreviations, acronyms or what have you on your dynamically generated pages. It requires you to write your HTML to the output buffer before writing it to the client.

In addition, you can also create dynamic tags which can change based on incoming variables. For instance, an example of how to highlight incoming Google search terms is provided in the script. Make sure to check it out! [No longer available]
